Sydney has one of the most famous and widely recognised harbours in the world, bringing millions of tourists each year. Whether it be during the Vivid lights festival or in Summer when the sun is beaming down, there is always a good time to visit Sydney. Being a culturally diverse city also makes it one of the best place to eat meaning Sydney’s food identity is not necessarily “Australian” but rather international. There are cuisines from all over the world available everywhere you look, including right in the heart of the city.
The Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House are in walking distance to many of the city’s other landmarks which make it such an iconic city. Coupled with the availability of countless different cuisines, this tour is ideal for those wanting to see all the highlights in and around Sydney harbour whilst sampling foods from all over the world. Due to the close proximity of all these locations this tour is done completely on foot.
Your tour highlights will include The Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay, Royal Botanical Gardens, The Rock’s, Barangaroo, Hyde Park, Queen Victoria Building and more.
The different types of food that you may sample along the way include but are not limited to; Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Malaysian, Korean, Thai, Indian, Turkish, Italian, Spanish, Greek as well as sweets and desserts. This tour is available to commence either in the morning starting with a light breakfast or at midday starting with a light lunch. There will be many stops along the way to snack on some delicious foods while taking in the wonderful sights of Sydney.
Being a private tour you will be able to take your time at each location, there will be plenty of opportunity for pictures and if you see something interesting along the way we can take a detour and make extra stops as you please.
Things to note: This tour will take you to all these landmarks but is not designed to take you inside many of them. For example if you would like to do a tour of the Opera House or visit some exhibits at the Art Gallery of NSW, this will need to be done separately from the tour.
